Manufacturing Engineer

Responsible for improving the quality of pretreatment products, reducing waste rates during pretreatment production, and increasing output.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop, implement, and optimize production workflows, layouts, and standard operating procedures.
• Supports new equipment installation and lead process validation.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and production teams to solve problems.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.
• Support the launch of new automotive glass products and ensure smooth entry into mass production.
• Implement lean production and continuous improvement programs (such as improvement, 5S, Six Sigma).
• Other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Job requirements:

Language: Common languages in the workplace are English and/or Mandarin. Able to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operation, and maintenance instructions. Able to interpret instructions in various forms of writing, verbal, charts, or schedules. Able to communicate effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership, and clients.

Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.

Math Skills: Able to use integers, common fractions, and decimal points, and perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with all units. Reasoning ability—the ability to solve practical problems and handle various variables. Computer Skills – Possess knowledge and familiarity with manufacturing software.

Required training:

Able to solve difficult problems in production; Familiar with production management knowledge and skills; Possess leadership, communication, coordination, and organizational skills; Skilled in coating technology, enhancement, and training subordinates; Must be 18 years of age or older.
