Gastroenterology Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) Job Title : Gastroenterology Physician – Independent Practice Physician (Ownership Model, Not Employed) Job Type : Independent Practice Opportunity Overview This posting is for physicians who wish to establish or transition into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. This is not an employed physician position; physicians maintain full ownership and clinical control. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate payer credentialing with participation as required Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Home‑centered services such as revenue cycle management, coding, EHR, telehealth, credentialing, and supply‑chain coordination Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board certified or eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
