Join our clinical team as a Registered Nurse RN to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in Fairfax, Missouri. This role is responsible for the assessment, care planning, and coordination of total nursing care in a collaborative healthcare environment. You will work closely with physicians, support staff, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes and support holistic healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and full body system analysis for diverse patient populations.
• Manage patient admissions, triage, and discharge planning processes efficiently.
• Identify changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions or emergency treatment.
• Administer medications, blood components, and intravenous IV therapies following established protocols.
• Operate and manage specialized medical equipment, including IV pumps and PCA pumps.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with medical staff, social services, and utilization management to coordinate care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote patient satisfaction.
• Direct and delegate tasks appropriately to patient support team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and legible clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control, isolation, and patient safety protocols.
• Perform emergency life support interventions including BLS, ACLS, and NRP as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse RN license in the State of Missouri.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required upon hire or within six months of employment.
• NRP certification is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Working Conditions

• Clinical hospital environment with exposure to infectious diseases and viruses.
• Requires the use of standard nursing uniforms and personal protective equipment PPE.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including long shifts, 12 hour shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to speak, hear, and communicate clearly with patients and medical staff.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Requires physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting or supporting patients.
