About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: RN with ICU experience preferred License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Proficient in 12-lead EKGs - Experience with infusions and drips - Capability to perform lab draws - Competence in IV insertion - Familiarity with cardiac monitoring - Experience in weaning patients from oxygen Description: The ICU nurse will provide care to critically ill patients. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:2 +/- 1. Floating to a different facility may be required. This role involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. RNs should be prepared to manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this position. In addition, the nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
