Registered Nurse, PCU (Progressive Care / Stepdown / Telemetry) – Pocatello, Idaho, United States
Start date: 09/14/2026 • Duration: weeks • Shift: 3x12-hour nights • Weekly pay: $1,824–$1,881 per week • Assignment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment • Setting: Acute care hospital unit with 24-bed PCU/IMC for adults and geriatrics

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics on a PCU/telemetry unit, including monitoring with cardiac rhythm analysis and responding to changes in patient status
- Administer prescribed medications and non-titrated IV therapies; manage cardiac and vasoactive infusions per protocol
- Perform and assist with central line and peripheral line care; manage tubing, pumps, and monitoring equipment
- Recognize and respond to clinical deterioration; participate in Rapid Response/Code events as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Support patients and families with education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge planning; collaborate with PT, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transport, and Unit Secretary to coordinate care
- Manage typical unit activities and documentation in the Epic charting system; ensure accuracy and timeliness of medication administration, assessments, and care plans

Requirements
- Active RN license in Idaho or a compact license in hand at time of submittal
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; prior PCU/telemetry or step-down experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts on a 24-bed unit; comfortable with adult and geriatric populations
- Willingness to work in a high-acuity setting with comprehensive stroke, trauma, and cardiac care capabilities
- Accepts first-time travelers
