If you want a supportive team beside you, grateful residents around you, and a place to grow as a CNA - you've found it!*Skilled nursing facilities provide care for geriatric patients who require 24/7 careHours: This is a part time position, and we are hiring for the Day Shift - either 6 AM to 2 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, or 6 AM to 6 PM. ***The shift hours depend upon your availability and the needs of the facility.Wages and Benefits:Competitive SalaryIf you are not yet certified, Parkdale Health and Rehab will pay for your nursing assistant certification (valued at over $500)CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.TrainingOn the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experienceRequirementsCurrent CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employmentEffective communication with coworkers and residentsWillingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term careJob DutiesAnswer residents' call lights to determine needsTurn and reposition residents while they are in bedProvide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercisingReview dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate dietRecord food and liquid intake and output as necessaryReporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
