Sr. Clinical Specialist - Sacramento, CA

Abbott seeks a Senior Clinical Specialist for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Sacramento, CA. The role provides comprehensive engineering, sales, educational, and technical support to physicians and healthcare professionals regarding cardiac rhythm products, with 50% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior clinical interface between medical community and the business
• Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support responding to field inquiries
• Develop, lead, and facilitate training sessions on cardiac rhythm products for healthcare professionals
• Provide backup support to cardiac rhythm team including regional seminars and product in-service training
• Mentor less experienced clinical specialists and troubleshoot complex clinical problems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
• 4+ years related experience or accredited cardiac training program certification
• Current certifications in cardiac rhythm management products
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems and electrophysiology procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent presentation and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to develop presentation materials
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work independently

Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
