The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing daily freight operations, ensuring shipments move efficiently from pickup to delivery. This role works closely with carriers, account managers, and internal teams to manage loads, resolve issues in real time, and maintain high service performance.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment where priorities shift quickly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, or operations preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track shipments from pickup through delivery
- Communicate shipment updates with customers and carriers
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
- Resolve shipment issues, delays, and service exceptions
- Maintain accurate load information within the transportation management system
- Support carrier communication and documentation processes
- Ensure required shipping documentation is completed and organized
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support customer needs
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address potential disruptions
- Assist with reporting and operational data entry tasks
