Position Insights We are seeking a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our dedicated imaging team. Your role will involve utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform essential diagnostic procedures while collaborating with a compassionate group of healthcare professionals to offer peace of mind through detailed and precise imaging. Responsibilities Breakdown
- Conduct various ultrasound evaluations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures by communicating each step with kindness
- Work in conjunction with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic results
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, providing timely reports of any technical issues
- Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly favored
- Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
- Technical expertise in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
