CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide compassionate and efficient nursing assistance to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure high-quality patient care while adhering to facility policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Observe and document residents' conditions, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
• Follow care plans accurately and provide support to ensure residents' comfort and safety.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, complying with infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate appropriate patient care.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding documentation and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Proven experience working in LTC/SNF environments preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements or approved exemptions.
