ORTHO REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT (Sign-On Bonus)POSITION DESCRIPTIONReports To: Patient Care LeaderPosition Status: Non-exemptThe RoleThe primary duty of the Ortho Registered Dental Assistant is to assist in the overall delivery of orthodontic care and to be an integral part of the overall patient care team by consistently delivering the most memorable and fun service experience possible for every patient, every day in every office.The Essential Job ElementsPrepare treatment area for patient by following procedures and protocolsPrepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting and seating patientAssist the doctor in the bonding and debonding of patientsPerform a variety of orthodontic adjustmentsPerform and store ortho records in consideration with company policyPerform dental infection control proceduresTake x-raysPerform all lab related proceduresHand off patient at check -outComplete care calls and thank you cardsAssist in managing and controlling supply inventoryDocument dental care services by charting in patient recordsMaintain strict compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board, etc…)Maintain safe and clean working environmentOther duties as assignedDesired Profile/BackgroundMust have a minimum of 1-2 years of RECENT Ortho experienceMust have current and active RDA license and current CPRUpbeat personality is a MUSTLoves working with childrenExcellent customer service skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailClean, neat professional appearanceKnowledge of Dentrix a plusTravel to other office locations is required #J-18808-Ljbffr REEVES DDS AND LA VALLEY DDS A DENTAL CORPORATION
