Real Estate Strategic Planning Lead

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Strategic Planning Lead to support enterprise-wide real estate portfolio strategy, optimization, and long-range planning initiatives. This highly visible role will partner with Finance, Workplace, People, IT, and Real Estate stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making through portfolio analytics, financial modeling, scenario planning, and executive-level business case development . The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in corporate real estate strategy, financial analysis, portfolio planning, and cross-functional stakeholder management .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REAL ESTATE PORTFOLIO STRATEGY & PLANNING

Develop and maintain long-range real estate portfolio plans aligned with business growth objectives Create and manage complex portfolio models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making Evaluate portfolio performance and provide optimization recommendations focused on cost efficiency, operational effectiveness, and employee experience Conduct portfolio utilization, occupancy, capacity, and growth analyses to support real estate planning initiatives

STRATEGIC ANALYSIS & FINANCIAL MODELING

Perform advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and business case analysis for real estate investments and portfolio decisions Analyze financial, operational, and market data to develop actionable recommendations for leadership Translate complex portfolio trade-offs into clear, data-driven insights for executive stakeholders Support strategic decision-making through quantitative and qualitative analysis

EXECUTIVE REPORTING & BUSINESS CASE DEVELOPMENT

Prepare executive-ready presentations, strategic recommendations, and decision-support materials Develop recurring portfolio reports, dashboards, KPIs, and planning metrics Present portfolio performance, scenario outcomes, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

Partner with Finance, Workplace Services, HR/People Operations, IT, and Real Estate teams to support global portfolio planning initiatives Collaborate across business functions to align real estate strategy with organizational goals and workforce planning Support high-priority cross-functional initiatives through ad hoc analysis and strategic recommendations

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & GOVERNANCE

Establish scalable planning frameworks, governance models, and reporting standards Drive continuous improvement of portfolio planning processes, analytics, and reporting capabilities Support organizational scaling by implementing structured planning methodologies and operational best practices

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field 7+ years of experience in Real Estate, Finance, Strategy, Management Consulting, Corporate Planning, or related disciplines Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, portfolio analysis, and scenario planning Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure and solve complex business challenges Experience developing executive presentations, strategic business cases, and leadership communications Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects in a fast-paced environment Experience working in results-driven and highly collaborative environments Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets Strong experience with data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and presentation development Experience with planning and analytics platforms such as Anaplan, Tableau, Databricks, or similar enterprise tools preferred
