Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics - $1,998 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12‑hour nights Employment Type: Travel Immediate travel position opening in Saint Joseph, MO. Requires 1 year recent acute‑care experience. Responsibilities Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Lift up to 20 lb routinely and up to 50 lb occasionally when moving or lifting patients. Have adequate vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Qualifications One year of experience. BLS, ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. NBRC certification required; BLS, ACLS, and at least 2 years of experience. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
