Certified Medication Technician (CMT) / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Kesti Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking dedicated and compassionate CMTs and DSPs to join our growing team. Our caregivers play a vital role in supporting clients across various healthcare settings, including personal care, senior care facilities, group homes, and residential programs. We’re looking for professionals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about delivering safe, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with provider orders and state regulations.
• Monitor and document client responses, promptly reporting any changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and secure medication records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Assist clients with daily living tasks while encouraging independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans.
• Maintain clean and organized medication storage areas.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow best practices for medication administration.
• Provide compassionate support to individuals with developmental or behavioral needs.

Qualifications

• Active certification(s) in the State of Maryland.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health needs (e.g., autism, anxiety).
• Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and documentation requirements.
• Prior experience in long-term care, group homes, or residential programs preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.

• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Mandt Training Certificate
• DDA 1 & DDA 2 Training
• Driver’s License or State ID
• Social Security Card, TIN, or EIN Verification
• Resume
• Physical Exam and TB Screening (or Chest X-ray if TB-positive, as required)
