As an Admissions Nurse (RN/LPN) , you'll play a critical role in creating a positive first impression for residents and families while ensuring a smooth transition into our center.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and oversee the nursing components of the admission process for new residents
• Conduct admission assessments and gather clinical information to support appropriate care planning
• Ensure all admission documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with residents, families, hospitals, and referral sources to facilitate smooth admissions
• Assess, evaluate, and provide direct nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Administer medications and perform treatments based on resident needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Supervise and support nursing assistants while promoting quality resident care
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, clinical standards, and facility policies

What You Bring

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing
• Medication administration and IV certification
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Leadership or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and admission processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for caring for and improving the lives of residents
• Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude
• Excellent attendance and reliability
