Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Medical ICU Float)

Location

Boston, MA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 8-Week Assignment | 12-Hour Rotating Days/Nights | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU float capacity across applicable units
• Deliver high-acuity nursing care consistent with Level 1 Trauma standards and protocols
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients in an intensive care setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Adhere to facility policies, documentation requirements, and compliance standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts (MA) Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• CPR certification through AHA required
• ACLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical ICU float or multi-unit float pool role
• Familiarity with high-census, fast-paced academic or large hospital environments
