Travel CT Technologist – Buffalo, Minnesota Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (8‑hour night shifts) Job Description & Requirements Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Buffalo, Minnesota. The role involves operating CT scanners, preparing patients, ensuring safety, and collaborating with radiologists to produce high‑quality diagnostic images. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT Certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Essential Work Functions Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately. Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment. Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other health‑care professionals. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT tech practice. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to read and follow written instructions, verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of personnel and maintain a positive attitude. Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and assistance with procedures. Mental ability to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and maintain focus on detail.
