Non Medical Caregiver

Job Summary: Village Caregiving, WV is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Non Medical Caregiver to join our team. This is a full or part/time, hourly healthcare/nonmedical position in the heart of Farmington, WV. As a Non Medical Caregiver at Village Caregiving, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by providing essential in-home care services. This individual contributor role requires a high level of empathy, patience, and flexibility in order to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive pay rate of $12 to $14 per hour, paid semimonthly. In addition to a competitive payrate, our caregivers also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes supplemental medical, dental, and vision insurance. We also provide the opportunity to create your own FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE!!!! Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, non-medical care to our clients in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Communicate with clients and their families to ensure their needs are being met
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and progress
• Report any changes in client's condition or needs to a supervisor
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines of Village Caregiving

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but NOT REQUIRED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
