Minimum Requirements Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Florida State Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in acute care or hospital settings preferred. Experience with inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing care preferred. Ability to perform objective assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document patient progress in electronic medical records. Current CPR/BLS certification required. Client-specific requirement: experience working in an acute hospital or inpatient rehab setting and familiarity with interdisciplinary team coordination is required. Clinicians may be required to float within the health system to cover other hospital units as needed.
