Associate DVM Veterinarian - Havelock, NC

A veterinary hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its fast-paced, high-acuity emergency practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a skilled, supportive team while managing a wide range of urgent and critical cases. Responsibilities

• Triage, evaluate, and manage emergency cases
• Perform diagnostics, stabilization, and treatment planning
• Provide life-saving care and perform emergency procedures as needed
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiology, ultrasound, and in-house labs
• Monitor hospitalized patients and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment options and outcomes
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians and internal team members
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active or eligible veterinary license
• Interest or experience in emergency or urgent care medicine
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Open to early-career veterinarians (mentorship available)
