Aerial Lineman

Job Overview: This position involves performing various manual labor tasks related to aerial telecommunications construction, working at heights, and supporting skilled technicians without the need for driving company vehicles. Responsibilities * Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial fiber optic and copper cable infrastructure. * Climb utility poles and work from elevated platforms or buckets as required, following all safety protocols. * Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment at job sites. * Dig trenches, pull cable, and perform other ground-level duties to support aerial operations. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling and disposal of waste materials. * Follow directions from supervisors and more experienced technicians. * Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. * Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment as needed (non-driving related). * Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as OSHA regulations. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous experience in telecommunications, construction, or a similar field is a plus, but not required. * Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. * Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), stand, climb, stoop, and bend for extended periods. * Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Willingness to learn and take direction. * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
