Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Position Summary Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. Depending on the shift you work, you may move inventory in the backroom, unload trucks, fulfill club pick‑up orders, or help members while stocking shelves. From unloading trucks in the summer to filling ice cream in the freezer, this fast‑paced job can be physically demanding – it’s like being paid to go to the gym! Be a part of a great team with a common goal – making sure members can find more of what they love, for less. Essential Duties Unload trucks promptly and efficiently. Assist fellow associates throughout the store. Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom. Engage vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area. Identify and address member needs, providing guidance and product recommendations. Maintain safety of the facility, conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, and report unsafe situations. Ensure merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies (zoning, stocking, pricing, and promotion). Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring proper rotation, recall procedures, and sanitation standards. Assist with club pick‑up order fulfillment, picking and staging according to company policy. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers and co‑workers. What You'll Want to Thrive In You thrive in fast‑paced environments. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics, supply chain, or related area is a plus. Basic math and reading skills. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 55 pounds, and use hand/hand‑held tools. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required for certain locations.
