Job Responsibilities

• Ensure proper packaging material is available to match production schedule.
• Inspect products for quality defects such as unwrapped products, loose wrappers, foreign objects, defective packaging, and proper labeling/lot numbers.
• Package products in cartons/cases according to specifications.
• Communicate packaging and product quality problems to line leader and/or supervisor.
• Stack fully packed/sealed cases on pallets according to product specification layout.
• Wrap full pallets of products with stretch wrap and identify with proper production ticket.
• Coordinate the movement of full pallets with material handlers.
• Ensure work area is clean and orderly at all times.
• Count and weigh scrap, and report to line leader/supervisor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in packing, palletizing, kitting, material handling, cleaning, general labor, and use of pallet jacks, forklifts, picking, and boxing.
• Attention to detail
• Initiative and sense of urgency
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. repetitively, up to 50 lbs.
• Team worker

Shift:

1st shift- 7am to 7pm

3rd shift- 7pm to 7am

Pay Rate:

$17-18/hr.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, NC.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
