Our program focuses on creating a collaborative professional development environment where experienced LPNs can safely further develop their critical thinking and nursing skills within the hospice specialty, while working with our patients in a variety of settings including home care. An experienced team of clinical educators, dedicated preceptor(s), and experienced clinicians will support your growth within the specialty of hospice nursing. Youll form meaningful relationships with your peers as you share new experiences together./ppOur LPN Residency program is a paid, full-time, intensive orientation program followed by a nurse residency period (total of three months) that serves as a bridge between past nursing roles youve had and hospice, providing you a smooth transition into a professional specialty nursing role./ppLPN residents will be employed at Care Dimensions during the residency and with successful completion of the residency, begin a full-time position as an LPN float. At the end of the residency program, the Resident will become an active member of the interdisciplinary team (IDT), and work under the supervision of a Clinical Manager and collaborate with other IDT members to provide care in accordance with current professional standards and practice to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families facing a life-limiting illness. Following the Residency, a commitment to work full-time for one year is expected for all LPN residents./ppYou will increase confidence in your clinical skills and judgment and enhance your critical thinking, and so much moreall in a safe, nurturing, team-oriented environment. Precise pay rates are determined through consideration of one or more of the following: education, training, relevant experience and work location. There are some cases in which the pay rate could exceed the range listed on this job post.
