Housekeeper

HousepersonThis position is responsible for providing support to the Room Attendant staff by bringing Linen & Supplies and emptying trash. In addition this position is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest room hallways, storage rooms, vending and all other public areas in accordance with company standards for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and safety and security. The Houseperson will also assist maintenance department with minor repairs and work orders, and on occasion assist housekeepers with cleaning guest rooms.Pre-Requisites (Requirements):High School diploma or equivalent of samePrior cleaning experience preferredMust display professionalism at all timesMust have excellent attendance and punctualityMust be able to comprehend and speak the English languageMust have good organizational and time management skillsMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust have the ability to interact with many types of personalitiesMust have sound judgment and discretional skills and work with little or no supervisionMust be able to consistently work under pressure and simultaneously prioritize multiple projectsMust possess and acute attention to detailWork Environment & Context:Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, and reachLong hours sometimes required. Work schedule varies and may include occasionally working on Holidays, weekends, and eveningsMust be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 30 poundsMust be physically and visually able to utilize the computer and other necessary office equipmentCapable of working in a faced paced environment and in stressful situationsMust be able to respond to multiple task interruptions in order to provide service to internal and external customers
