Apply today and help us make every moment count at PSC.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do as an LPNAs an LPN at Pediatric Specialty Care, you'll play an active role in delivering consistent, attentive nursing care to medically complex children and young adults. Working closely with RNs, providers, families, and the interdisciplinary care team, you will:Deliver nursing care based on each resident's individualized care plan and evolving clinical needs.Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with provider orders.Monitor residents closely, recognize changes in condition, and communicate concerns promptly to the appropriate clinical team members.Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RNs, and other disciplines to coordinate care and support treatment decisions.Contribute to admission evaluations, ongoing assessments, care planning, and resident and family education.Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation, including nursing notes, medication and treatment records, and care-plan updates.Provide clear, thorough change-of-shift reports to support continuity and safety across the nursing team.Practice within the LPN scope, seeking RN guidance or immediate clinical support when a resident's needs or condition require escalation.Participate in orientation, continuing education, quality-improvement initiatives, and the ongoing development of Nurse Technicians.QualificationsLPN - Licensed Practical Nurse (Pediatrics)Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current state license in good standing for the state in which work is performedValid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certificationMust be at least 21 years of ageTraining and work experience in a pediatric setting preferredMeets the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
