Registered Respiratory Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mixture of 12-hour (7 PM to 7 AM) and 8-hour (11 PM to 7 AM) shifts. Every other weekend is required.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to a variety of patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This role involves delivering critical care services, managing respiratory treatments, and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments to patients.
• Evaluate and assess patient conditions.
• Perform procedures such as intubation assist, suctioning, and bronchoscopy.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and weaning processes.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Comply with all facility policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required.
• Current RRT certification is mandatory; CRTE is not accepted.
• Epic charting system experience is required.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications are necessary.
