Lead Account Technology Strategists

Responsibilities Develop strategic partnerships and build trusted relationships with customers, technical stakeholders, and decision‑makers at senior levels. Fully integrate with customers, maintaining essential relationships across all levels through regular and consistent communication. Possess a comprehensive understanding of customers’ dynamic environments and create strategic plans that align with future goals. Provide technical thought leadership, articulating industry trends and insights as a trusted technology advisor internally and externally. Orchestrate technical engagement and resources to ensure customer needs are met while navigating a landscape of varied technologies and compatibility factors. Overcome technical and competitive objections, accelerating the technical evaluation component of the sales cycle. Assess potential product applications to meet business needs, demonstrating value and ensuring high satisfaction while minimizing churn. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or on‑site, driving adoption in collaboration with Customer Success and internal stakeholders. Engage in continuous discovery, bringing in resources such as Sales Architects, Product Specialists, and Product Managers for new features and strategy adjustments. Build complex, multi‑product proof‑of‑concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of the sales engagement process. Manage various customer concerns (licensing, wide‑scale product needs) and coordinate with senior leaders and SMEs for seamless service and resolution. Conduct regular case reviews, anticipate issues before they arise, and ensure environments run optimally. Keep thorough records in Salesforce—use cases, future needs, technical strategy, and projects—for internal reviews and leadership updates. Serve as an external spokesperson and evangelist for the company’s vision and technologies. Provide regular, efficient updates on assigned accounts to Sales and Sales Engineering management, contributing to broader team mindshare. Present and communicate effectively at the executive level to multiple customers and prospects. Own or collaborate on initiatives that impact the immediate sales area, such as go‑to‑market strategies, and positively influence opportunities beyond the account set. Maintain a solid understanding of competitive technologies and positioning strategies to win. Provide thought leadership to the team, sharing feedback and best practices. Lead the team, sharing innovative use cases and go‑to‑market strategies, adapting to industry changes. Mentor and lead other ATS professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Work effectively across different departments (sales, product development, marketing) to align efforts and drive strategic initiatives. Adapt quickly to changes in the technology landscape, turning them into business value opportunities. Possess deep understanding of customers’ industries, trends, challenges, and regulatory environments. Takes ownership of outcomes, holding self and others accountable for commitments and strategic goals. Track record of driving revenue through strategic upselling, cross‑selling, and new business development. Expertise in aligning technology solutions with broader business strategy, ensuring tangible outcomes. Assist in projects and initiatives outside the ATS organization that support go‑to‑market and product development. Qualifications Understanding of CSG’s competitive domain and technologies. Broad knowledge of DaaS/VDI, Applications, Enterprise Browser, Enterprise Mobility Management, Networking, Enterprise Security, Data Management, Data Analytics. Passion for technology and innovation, forward‑thinking mindset. Strong understanding of business processes and implementing them into enterprise applications. Analytical and negotiation skills, especially at the C‑level. Ability to quickly grasp and explain technological and business concepts clearly. Ability to evaluate and reshape existing teams, mentoring and inspiring staff. Track record of delivering revenue and accurate forecasts while supporting team development. Independent work with limited oversight. Prioritizes and manages diverse tasks, objectives, and risks. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. High level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. 7+ years of technical customer service experience in high‑tech, indirect sales, or procurement with a record of driving adoption. Willingness to travel. Certifications beneficial but not required: Citrix CCE‑V, Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud Certified (CC‑VAD‑CC), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service Integration with Microsoft Azure Certified (CC‑VAD‑MA), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service Integration with Amazon Web Services Certified (CC‑VAD‑AWS), Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, updated security certifications. Compensation & Benefits Compensation may vary depending on location, qualifications, job‑related education, training, experience, licensure, and certifications. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and sales incentives depending on plan and role, as well as individual performance. United States: $140,844–$211,266 (NY) and $146,968–$220,452 (CA). All other locations: $122,473–$183,709. Benefits vary by employment type and location; U.S. employees are typically offered healthcare, life insurance, disability benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match, and others.
