Occupational Therapist (OT) - SNF | 13-Week Contract

We’re currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a skilled nursing facility in Sacramento, CA . Sacramento offers a great mix of city energy and laid-back California living, with plenty of neighborhoods, parks, and local spots to explore. Whether you’re enjoying a walk or bike ride along the American River Parkway or spending time in Old Sacramento, there’s always something to do outside of work. • Anticipated start date: ASAP

• Salary range: Up to $2,340 weekly

• Anticipated duration of contract: 13 weeks

• Contract type: Travel, Permanent, or Travel-to-Perm

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide skilled OT services to improve ADLs and functional mobility.

• Implement interventions for orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute conditions.

• Train residents in adaptive techniques and use of assistive equipment.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.

• Educate residents and families on treatment plans and discharge goals.

• Document evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports timely.

• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations.

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment.

• Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

• Proficient documentation and time management skills.
