Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a long-term travel contract, with outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required and new graduates welcome.
Details
- Outpatient clinic offering PT, OT, and PTA services
- Patient population includes outpatient orthopedic cases with a mix of commercial, Medicare, and workers' compensation patients
- Typical caseload of 10-11 patients per day, approximately 50 patients per week
- 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visit slots with some overlap
- Schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, and Tuesday/Thursday 10:00 AM-7:00 PM, with one-hour lunches
- 5x8s schedule preferred, with flexible scheduling options considered
- Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-6:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Uses NextGen for documentation
- Possible floating to another clinic location if staffing needs arise
Requirements
- Outpatient experience preferred but not required
- New graduates will be considered
- License required if applicable

- Supported by front desk staff, rehab aides, and seven additional clinicians
- Clinicians are supported by a generative AI documentation scribe that helps generate compliant clinical documentation in real time
