Remote Pharmacy TechnicianAdecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Remote Pharmacy Technicians! This role is work from home and all equipment is provided. Please read below and confirm interest for consideration.Type: Six-month contract, with opportunity to extend or full-time offerSchedule: Between 7 AM - 7:00 PM, CST (Depending on Time Zone) with alternating SaturdaysPay: $22.65 - $25.65 an hour based on experienceResponsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:· Navigate across multiple computer systems to identify information needed for outbound calls to members/providers.· Make outgoing calls as needed to provide information on prior authorization case outcome, follow-up or consultation such as prior authorization requirements, appeals, etc.· Educate members / guardians, providers, pharmacy staff on procedures to avoid compliance risk.· Meet departmental established performance expectations and working independently to complete tasks in a timely manner.· May include processing member prior authorizations through various computer systems ensuring the accuracy of all data and updating as necessary.· May take incoming calls from members or providers and apply benefit plan criteria in making decisions (approvals / denials) or recommendations; clarify and explain pharmaceutical benefits and procedures.Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:· HS Diploma or GED· 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience· 1+ years working experience with Microsoft Office· Active State board of Pharmacy Technician Licensure· Proficiency with Windows-Based applications - Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management), Microsoft Word (create and edit correspondence), and Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, and sort spreadsheets, basic analytical formulas (VLOOKUP, if)· Ability to work between the hours of 7 AM - 7:00 PM, CST and an occasional 8-hour Saturday shiftWhy Work for Adecco?· Weekly Pay· 401(k) Plan· Skills Training· Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefitsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
