Tanker LoaderThe Tanker Loader plays a vital role in ensuring food safety, sanitation, and efficient transport of liquid egg products. This position includes driving a semi-truck within the facility, operating sanitation systems, performing clean-in-place (CIP) procedures, handling quality control tasks, and completing necessary documentation. The Tanker Loader helps maintain a clean and compliant environment, directly supporting production flow and product integrity.Essential Job FunctionsDrive semi-trucks on-site and position tankers in designated loading baysSanitize tankers using internal CIP procedures following QA swab resultsMix and apply cleaning chemicals safely according to protocolOperate control system to manage the CIP process and fluid loadingPerform chemical titrations and record quality assurance dataSeal tanker access points post-fill to maintain food safety integrityProcess 4--6 tankers per day during a typical shiftAssist with morning setup and cleanup of the egg-breaking areaSupport sanitation efforts during breaker washdown and candler breaksKeep the tanker bay area clean and free from pests such as fliesComplete all required paperwork accurately and on timeKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safetyBasic mechanical and technical skills to operate control systemsAbility to work independently while following strict proceduresEffective communication and teamworkWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environmentPhysical stamina and ability to work in varied climate conditionsRequired QualificationsValid driver's license (CDL not required but a plus)Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (reaching, bending, twisting, etc.)Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as neededReliable transportation and dependable attendancePreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious experience in food production or sanitationKnowledge of CIP systems or experience with liquid handlingBasic understanding of quality assurance processesCDL license or prior semi-truck driving experience on private propertyWork EnvironmentOn-site work in a production and sanitation areaExposure to high-moisture, warm or cold conditions, and cleaning chemicalsRoutine handling of large equipment, cleaning hoses, and chemical containersUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) requiredPeriods of standing, walking, and sitting during truck operationAbout UsVersova is one of the largest egg producers in the United States, bringing together family-owned farms in Iowa, Ohio, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado.
