CNC Operator

Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills (primarily Mazak, Haas, or similar CNC equipment) - Load raw materials and fixtures, ensuring proper alignment and setup - Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions - Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators) - Monitor machine performance and make minor offsets or adjustments as needed - Perform basic troubleshooting of tooling, fixtures, and part defects - Maintain quality standards to meet tight tolerance requirements - Change tooling and inserts according to job specifications - Document production counts, scrap, and quality checks - Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures - Collaborate with programmers, lead operators, and quality personnel to improve processes

Must Haves: - 3 years experience operating CNC Machines - Be able to stand for 8 hours a day - Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Familiar and able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments - Operate multiple machines when needed - Follow all safety and work rules and practices Nice-to-Haves - Have both set-up and programming experience - Have experience working with Mazak Mills or Lathes as well as Okuma Mills

This is a Permanent position based out of Morton Grove, IL.
