Job Title Certified Surgical Technologist 3 – Cardiovascular Transplant Operating Room (2600008U) Overview The Certified Surgical Technologist 3 is a key member of the surgical team, serving under the supervision of a licensed professional while taking on advanced responsibilities in patient care. The role includes maintaining a sterile environment, ensuring equipment functionality, and supporting both invasive and non‑invasive procedures to ensure optimal patient safety. Extensive expertise in aseptic techniques, human anatomy, surgical tools, and advanced surgical practices is required. Responsibilities Maintain a sterile operating environment. Ensure functionality of all surgical equipment. Support invasive and non‑invasive surgical procedures. Participate in initiatives beyond the surgical department. Qualifications Three (3) years of surgical experience. Demonstrated competency in at least five (5) surgical specialties. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. Tech in Surgery (TS‑C) certification from the National Center for Competency Testing. Location Primary Location: Tampa – TGH Main Campus 1, Tampa General Circle, Tampa, 33601. Work Style On‑site work; remote work not available.
