Nurse Practitioner

About the Position Nurse Practitioner at Cowlitz Family Health Center, Cathlamet, Washington. Full‑time (1.0 FTE) with 10‑hour shifts. Annual Salary: $131,100 – $139,050 per year. Responsibilities Diagnose medical conditions and prescribe medications. Monitor potential medication side effects. Provide primary care and preventive health treatments. Collaborate with medical assistants, receptionists, referral and records experts, care coordination professionals, behavioral health specialists, and outreach and enrollment staff. Deliver consumer‑friendly, evidence‑based care. Qualifications Active licensure to practice in Washington without restriction. Board‑certified or eligible in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds. Valid, unrestricted license to prescribe drugs, medications, pharmaceuticals, and controlled substances. No disciplinary actions by professional/peer review organizations, governmental agencies, licensing bodies, or hospital medical staff. Knowledge of evidence‑based primary clinical care standards. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting. Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships with patients. Ability to engage patients in improving and maintaining their health. Experience working with underserved, transient populations. Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records. At least 2 years of related experience providing primary care in an outpatient setting. Bilingual English/Spanish.
