Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role supporting physicians and Cath Lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced equipment to capture images and data of the heart and vasculature while working in a skilled nursing facility environment in Brownsville, TX.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential.
• Must have interventional cath experience with peripheral and coronary procedures.
• Experience with IABP and Impella devices required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications from American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Experience working in a Cath Lab or hospital interventional setting.
• EMR experience. Meditech experience preferred.
• State licensure if required by Texas regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI preferred.
• Experience with EP procedures, pacemaker/AICD cases, Watchman implants, IVUS, and FFR preferred.
• Previous experience in IR, ICU, or PACU considered a plus for floating assignments.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0700-1500.
• Every other weekend on call.
• Every other night on call during the week.
• 30 minute callback response time requirement.
• Floating may include IR, ICU (with competency), and pre/post PACU Cath areas.
• Scrub color: navy.

As a traveling Cath Lab Tech you will support high-acuity cardiac procedures and contribute to improved patient outcomes. Work with a multidisciplinary team using equipment such as IABP, Impella, stents, balloons, IVUS, FFR, and ultrasound. Assignments provide clinical experience across a variety of interventional cases and procedural volumes.
