Your Impact

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for generating new leads through outbound prospecting. This position will focus on lead generation - contacting, and developing relationships with potential customers, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.

A Glimpse of What You'll Do

• Develop a solid understanding of KLA's overall business capabilities
• Research organizations to identify needs and key decision makers
• Promote and uphold KLA's values, reputation, and culture
• Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
• Proactively seek new business opportunities
• Provide prompt responses to all prospects and customers
• Schedule meetings for executives and prospects
• Maintain fruitful relationships with customers and address their needs effectively
• Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers
• Perform regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
• Collaborate with sales executives to ensure KLA's goals and targets are met
• Attend networking events

What You Bring

• Desire for continuous learning in the field of sales
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with outreach such as cold calling and emailing
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication or a related field is preferred

Additional Information

• Full time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work
• Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
• Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 pounds
