As an Observation RN, join our team to provide exceptional care to patients in a 222-bed hospital in Marquette, Michigan. How You'll Contribute Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care. Documents patient care. Works closely with providers to ensure patients meet observation criteria, monitoring patients for 24-48 hours to assess conditions and determine admission or discharge. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support. Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families, providing education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for patients' physical and emotional well-being. Qualifications Applicants must hold a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).
