Job Summary
Occupational Therapist, Inpatient: Provides occupational therapy services across adult and pediatric acute inpatient, intensive care, trauma, rehabilitation, and specialty programs. Responsibilities include activities of daily living evaluations, treatment planning, documentation supporting the next level of care, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in a high-volume acute care environment.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); active state license required for submission; strong verbal and written communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week; rotating weekends and holidays required.
- Additional Information: Provides approximately 9 evaluations and 16 treatments per therapist per day in a department serving approximately 120–150 patients daily. Clinical coverage may include adult and pediatric intensive care units, acute inpatient and rehabilitation programs, trauma, neurology, orthopedics, general medical-surgical care, oncology, stroke services, and same-day discharge joint programs. Duties include activities of daily living evaluations, treatment, documentation, and care-level recommendations. Clean, professional attire in any solid color is required.
