Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology

Registered Nurse – Outpatient Oncology

Shift: 5x8

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience
• At least 1 year in an outpatient oncology clinic
• BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) certifications required
• Oncology certification: ONS or ONCC preferred
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• 2 supervisor references from within the past year required at submission

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient oncology setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.

Compliance / Notes:

• Available RTO: Max 7 days; no RTO within first 2 weeks of assignment
• Background checks and references are required.
