Intake Coordinator

Job Position: Intake Coordinator Location: McHenry, IL 60050 Pay Rate: $20.00 to $23.00/hr BOE Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Description: Sustainable Staffing is seeking an organized and energetic Intake Coordinator. You will serve as the primary point of contact for job seekers. Your main goal is to welcome applicants, gather their information, and guide them through our employment onboarding process. Schedule Days: Monday to Friday. Hours: 9-hour shifts (shifts vary between office hours of 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM). Breaks: Includes a 1-hour lunch period. Key Responsibilities Greet incoming applicants in person and over the phone. Review employment applications for completeness and accuracy. Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate skills and job preferences. Verify work documentation and perform required background checks. Enter candidate data accurately into the Zenople Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Track incoming applicants from social media, external job boards, and the company website. Schedule interview appointments efficiently for candidates sourced from all online platforms. Answer inquiries regarding open positions and hiring requirements. Maintain digital files in Zenople in compliance with employment laws. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: One year or more in customer service, administrative support, telemarketing or recruiting. Languages: Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred. Skills: Strong data entry skills with high accuracy. Type: 55 WPM with 90% accuracy. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Software: Proficiency with Zenople ATS or similar staffing software is highly desired. Traits: Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
