Job Description
Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Nursing

Schedule
- Shift: 3x12 nights (primarily straight nights; may flip every 4 weeks if needed)
- Weekends: Every other weekend required

Assignment Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, NRP
- EMR: Epic (required)
- Skills: Labor & delivery care, OB triage/testing, high-risk antepartum management, vaginal and cesarean delivery support, neonatal resuscitation/newborn assessment, EFM/EFM interpretation, IUPC/internal fetal monitoring, postpartum hemorrhage recognition/management

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to mothers and newborns in labor and delivery settings.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor, assessing progress and complications.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
- Support families during the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 35 hours
- Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
