Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Nuclear Medicine Technologist required for a day shift position. Average daily census is approximately 20 visits per day. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Experience with Siemens equipment is preferred. Candidates should possess knowledge of PET/CT procedures. No weekend or on-call requirements. Travelers may float to other facilities based on need. Responsibilities include a variety of nuclear medicine procedures. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in maintaining IVs and handling radioactive materials. The role involves performing procedures such as HIDA scans, PET scans, and renal studies. Sound knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE usage is essential. Candidates need to adhere to safety guidelines related to radioactive materials. This position supports diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates should be prepared to complete facility-specific training and modules within the first week of the assignment.
