Registered Nurse - Pediatric and Adult Acute Rehabilitation

Join our interdisciplinary team in providing high-quality care for a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injuries, Trauma, Orthopedic issues, Neuro problems, Oncology, Pediatric needs, Solid Organ Transplants, Heart Failure, and other medically complex conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver clinical and emotional support to both patients and their families as they work towards regaining independence.

Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week, Day/Eve/Night shifts, 8- and 12-hour shifts, with holidays and weekends per unit policy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute rehabilitation
• Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans as necessary
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation goals and processes
• Utilize telemetry experience for patient monitoring and assessments

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
• Current RN License valid in New York State
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Experience in telemetry is essential
• Recent pediatric nursing experience is preferred

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
