The Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) plays a crucial role in evaluating, recommending, and providing customized Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) to meet the unique needs of our clients. This position involves working closely with clients, families, therapists, and physicians to ensure the appropriate equipment is provided to maximize independence and enhance quality of life. A strong understanding of clinical conditions and extensive knowledge of rehabilitation equipment are essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care, managing procurement processes, delivering and fitting equipment, providing thorough training and education to clients and caregivers, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Required qualifications, skills, and experience include a bachelor's degree in a related field, valid Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, working knowledge of compliant billing processes, and a valid driver's license.

Preferred competencies and qualifications include experience working with complex rehabilitation technology, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, previous experience in selling DME equipment, extensive knowledge of rehabilitation equipment, and ability to perform thorough evaluations.

Physical work requirements include frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers associated with computer equipment, prolonged periods of time working at a desk, ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, and ability to communicate effectively.
