Material Handler/Forklift Driver

$21 - $23 per hour

We are looking for a full time material handler to to join our growing 1st shift team to help lead organization of raw materials, loading/unloading trucks for deliveries and customer shipments, and assist in keeping key manufacturing cells staged with what they need to serve the customers!

Primary Responsibilities:

Material handling (loading/unloading trucks), staging material / parts, for machines and work areas
Assist in verifying/inspecting received goods
Scrap handling, and disposal
Assist in preparing, packing, weighing, labeling, securing parts for shipment
Assist in receiving entering raw material into system, printing/handling packing lists as needed
Other day to day tasks as needed to support manufacturing, on time delivery, the shipping/receiving team

Requirements

High proficiency with forklifts, at least 1 year experience), with zero safety incident record
Some experience in a dedicated warehouse or forklift role preferred, but not necessarily required
Must be a team player who keeps the customer and others in mind
Detail orientated, safety conscious, with an aptitude for organization
Ability to regularly lift raw material or finished goods up to 40 pounds
Aptitude for computers, comfortable learning new systems/software as needed
Able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day
