The Director will oversee:

The Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for:
- Daily leadership of perioperative operations
- Staff development, engagement, performance management, and recruitment
- Scheduling, productivity, payroll, and departmental staffing strategy
- Quality, safety, regulatory readiness, and evidence-based practice
- Budget oversight, supply utilization, vendor relationships, and contracts
- Collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing leaders, and executive leadership
- Operational improvement across surgical throughput, patient experience, and team performance
Ideal Background
Qualified candidates will bring:
- Active RN license, or ability to obtain state licensure
- BSN required
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of surgical nursing experience
- Proven leadership experience in Surgical Services
- Strong understanding of perioperative operations, regulatory standards, staffing, budgeting, and physician partnership
- Ability to lead a large, multidisciplinary surgical team
The Community
This opportunity is located in a scenic Southwestern community known for its warm climate, outdoor lifestyle, and access to year-round recreation. The area offers a strong quality of life for those who enjoy boating, hiking, off-roading, golf, local events, and an active lifestyle outside of work.
It is a great fit for someone who wants the professional scope of a regional healthcare provider while living in a community that offers sunshine, natural beauty, and a more relaxed pace than a large metropolitan market.
