What You'll Do
- Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy equipment to capture images of coronary and peripheral vessels
- Assist physicians during cardiac procedures with patient positioning and equipment setup
- Monitor patient vitals and manage radiation safety protocols
- Document procedures accurately for billing and recordkeeping
- Conduct quality control on imaging equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Transmit and archive images using PACS systems
- Adapt communication to meet patient needs, ensuring comfort and understanding during procedures
What You Need
- Valid ARRT registration and Louisiana Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiologic or cardiac imaging
- Strong technical skills in fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory compliance
