WS Program Manager - Region 1

Location and Pay Location: Region 1 based in Southern Maine Pay: 57k - 60k D.O.E Office Locations: 190 Lancaster Street, Portland, ME 04101, USA; 469 Main Street Suite 103, Springvale, ME 04083, USA; 189 Alfred Street 2nd Floor, Biddeford, ME 04005, USA Overview The Program Manager oversees a team of Vocational Support Advisors under our contract with Vocational Rehabilitation. Provides supervision and coordination of workforce activities in compliance with our contract. Ensures compliance with any program goals, outreach targets and reporting requirements or other deliverables, in consultation with Workforce leadership team. Responsibilities Expand and maintain positive partnerships with the clients served, business community and program funders. Implement strategies to improve service quality. Directly supervise assigned personnel, including recruiting, hiring, orienting, training, monitoring, and evaluating. Directly supervise key management tasks such as assigning client caseloads, monitoring for quality assurance, program evaluations, and report writing. Minimum Qualifications BA/BS in rehabilitation, business, communication, or related field; or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of experience working in workforce development or related field. Demonstrated ability to use personal computer, email, Internet, and Microsoft Office software. Reliable transportation with proof of current automobile insurance. Valid driver’s license permitting operation of a vehicle in the State of Maine with a satisfactory driving record. Criminal background check that meets Agency standards. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years progressive management experience.
