THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position focuses on managing Troop inventory, processing supply requests, and maintaining accurate records for equipment and materials. As a Stock Clerk 3, you will perform the following duties:
- Inventory Management: Monitor supply levels, review requests, and distribute clothing, equipment, and office items
- Vendor Coordination: Secure bidders, inspect received goods, and make authorized purchases
- Purchase Tracking: Monitor purchase orders, maintain purchasing card records, and communicate with vendors
- Equipment Records: Maintain accurate files for uniforms, firearms, badges, and other issued items
- Property Inspection: Conduct inventory inspections, update tracking reports, and dispose of unserviceable items
- Supply Transport: Load, unload, and deliver supplies to Troop and Department Headquarter locations as needed
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience in stores control work, including one year of experience with responsibility for the operation of a small storeroom; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a high school or vocational school; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You must possess a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
